Logan Buchanan Obituary, Death Colchester, VT Missing Found Dead
The community of Colchester, Vermont, is mourning the loss of 20-year-old Logan Buchanan, whose death has brought a heartbreaking end to an intensive search effort that began late Friday.
According to the Colchester Police Department, officers received a missing person report around 5:00 p.m. that evening. Shortly afterward, Buchanan’s truck was located in the parking lot of the Malletts Creek Wildlife Management Area, prompting an immediate and coordinated search of the surrounding area.
Multiple agencies responded, including Vermont State Police, Milton Police, Colchester Technical Rescue, and Vermont Fish and Wildlife. Search teams worked through the night and into Saturday morning, carefully combing the area in hopes of locating him.
At approximately 11:46 a.m. on Saturday, authorities confirmed that Logan Buchanan had been found deceased within the wildlife management area. Officials stated that the death is not currently considered suspicious.
